The redevelopment of the city centre covers 13 acres of the Princesshay area. Works commenced in February 2005 and is due to be completed in autumn of 2007.
The construction works will include fifty new shops - including the flagship, Debenhams department store. There will also be 130 apartments, restaurants, and a 320 space car park. MJN Colston, together with WSP Group plc, are responsible for the development of the design, and the installation of, the Mechanical, Electrical, Public Health and Sprinkler services.
