MJN Colston Ltd Sails to Victory

The 21st Little Britain Challenge Cup 2008 the largest construction industry yachting regatta in Europe came to a close on 14th September and brought with it some great weather, strong winds and some well deserved rewards for the MJN Colston crew.

Over the course of the regatta for the first time ever we managed to stand on the winning podium not once but three times. This in itself was a great feat, however, the defining moment was scooping first place in the J109 race on Saturday.

Great teamwork, hard work and camaraderie saw us take 2nd place overall in the J109 category but more surprisingly coming an impressive 31st out of 247 in the overall event which in a competition of this calibre is an outstanding achievement.

We certainly set the bar high this year and we look forward to rising to the challenge again in 2009.
