St Josephs School, Tyneside
The new St Josephs School is part refurbishment and part new build and has been designed to achieve a BREEAM rating of very good.
The new three storey circulation street is a light and vibrant space and runs the full length of the new teaching block. Flexibility of space is an important factor. The teaching block has moving partitions within the break out areas , some classrooms contain folding partition walls that can be moved to accommodate for larger classes and can be used as examination spaces which will help reduce disruption to the rest of the school
We are carrying out all Mechanical , Plumbing ,Sprinkler and Electrical Services at the above project as part of the Building Schools for the Future programme.
Included within the electrical services are security, access control, fire alarm, power and internal and external lighting. Within the Mechanical package are the main boiler, boiler plant both gas fired and Biomas units , control system, underfloor heating as well conventional radiators, hot and cold water services, air conditioning and ventilation systems.
