Marks and Spencer, Gemini Retail Park

Originally constructed in the early 1990’s, M&S Gemini has remained one of the company’s most profitable stores. As a result, this vast retail park store in Warrington is currently undergoing its first major re-development; the construction and fit out of a first floor level on top of the existing ground floor. This is being carried out whilst the store remains a completely live and fully trading store.

MJN have been awarded the Mechanical Services package for this development. This includes the stripping out and re-routing of all existing HVAC services to suit the new structural requirements of the first floor whilst also maintaining comfortable trading conditions and ensuring all existing public health services are kept operational.

Once built; the new first floor will be subject to a traditional M&S fit-out including new Home and Home Tech sales floor and a new customer café.

We are carrying out the following mechanical services:

  • Refurbishment of existing sales floor AHU’s.
  • Installation of public health services to three new café and kitchen areas.
  • New ventilation and air conditioning system to First Floor.
  • Refurbish existing control & BMS systems.
  • Installation of a new gas main.
  • Installation of a new packaged Hot Water Service plantroom.
  • Installation of a Mitsubishi Heat Pump Water Boiler to provide hot water to the new first floor café.
