The Eden Project

The Eden Project is one of the UK’s top landmark Millennium projects created to tell the story of mans relationship and dependence on plants. Based in St. Austell Cornwall the £75 million Eden project has become a visitor attraction of international stature.

MJN Colston carried out the total building and environmental services installations for this unique scheme. The underground sitewide distribution systems stretch over 6Km in length and includes a Grey water system serving wcs sitewide fire hydrants, automatic irrigation and Fogging systems that serve each biome and the external planting areas.

In the biome link and other educational facilities within the complex full Multi-media systems for concerts and conferences have been installed.

Following on from the initial “Big Build” MJN Colston has helped Eden to create a range of facilities which add fantastic benefits and opportunities for Visitors and Staff alike.

They include :Foundation Building, Staff Facilities Building, Car Parking and Bus Transit Facilities,Ticketing,Goods & Stores.
