Highgate School.

A major redevelopment scheme was completed in 2005 that turned the former School House into a centre of excellence for Art, Design and Technology.
Several million pounds was invested in the School House to ensure that it once again plays an important role in the exciting future of Highgate School
The outside of the building remained unchanged, although much of the original brickwork and roof was restored. An enlarged lower ground floor houses the Design Technology department, with space for teaching and project work in both electronics and resistant materials.
The top two floors provides generous space for Art and Design, with facilities for painting and drawing, ceramics, 3-D work, a library, seminar rooms and storage space in the roof. The ground floor provides rooms for meetings and exhibitions together with an audio-visual room for presentations.
MJN Colston were responsible for the refurbishment of the building services at this prestigious public school. Services include heating, ventilation, gas, comfort cooling, domestic water, above ground drainage, lighting, power, fire detection/alarm, voice and data cabling, CCTV/Intruder alarms and lightning protection.
