Mortimer College

The redevelopment of Mortimer Community College is one of the first two schools to be developed under the STaG Building Schools for the Future work programme.
Mortimer Community College is a co-educational school for 11 – 16 year olds specialising in Sports and Arts.
The new teaching block is linked to the retained element of the building by the central street internally and the new, larger main entrance externally. Access has been improved, ensuring that the whole site and building are accessible. The main entrance will now be shared by both members of the community and the school, reinforcing the notion of the central street and exhibition foyer as a shared resource for staff, students, visitors and members of the community alike.
