Debenhams Blackpool.

Houndshill Shopping Centre in Blackpool has undergone a major refurbishment and extension that has tripled its floor space.

The new Debenhams store is the anchor store for the Centre and is also the first department store to operate in this area for 15 years.

The 100,000 sq ft store occupies three floors. On the top floor is a Style Café over looking the Atrium at the heart of the Houndshill development.

We were responsible for the following services:

  • Comfort Cooling to Retail Sales area via air displacement systems
  • Comfort Cooling to Public Café/Staff Restaurant
  • Comfort Cooling to BOH Staff Areas (including general office, EPOS Room, training rooms etc)
  • Mechanical supply/extract system to Public Café/Staff Restaurant
  • Mechanical supply/extract systems to BOH Sales/Staff Area (including public and staff toilets, miscellaneous offices etc)
  • Domestic H&C Water services to Public Café/Staff Restaurant, Public & Staff toilets
  • Public Health drainage to Public Café/Staff Restaurant/Public & Staff toilets

  • Small power distribution to Retail Sales areas and BOH areas
