Twickenham South Stand
The project is part of a phased development of the South Stand of the Stadium by the Rugby Football Union.
The development provides 5,500sq m of high quality Conference and Banqueting Facilities on three floors including a Performing Arts Theatre. The facilities are served by new Entrance Lobbies, Toilets, Bars and Kitchens in each area.
We undertook the design, Installation and Commissioning of the Mechanical Services including the co-ordination of services with other Contractors on site. The works entailed:
- Heating, including Underfloor Heating in Lobby and Reception Areas
- Chilled Water
- Domestic Hot & Cold Water Services, Drainage, Sanitaryware
- Natural Gas to Kitchens
- Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Kitchen Canopies, Specialist Displacement Terminals in the Performing Arts Theatre
- BMS, Control Panels & Control Systems.
The contract programme commenced in March 2008 and was completed in September 2008.
The works were phased to coincide with completion of other development projects in the Stadium including Central Services, Corporate Hospitality Suites and a new Marriott Hotel. The Fit Out contract was completed on programme.
