Royal Festival Hall Extension

We were responsible for the installation, testing and commissioning of a wide range of mechanical, electrical and plumbing services, interfacing with the building envelope and specialist sub-contractors.

The four storey building, 100m long and 8.5m wide, fronts onto the Thames close to the London Eye. It sits on a linear site running between the Royal Festival Hall and Hungerford Railway Bridge and extends into the arches under the railway viaduct.

The works undertaken also included refurbishment of the existing arches under the railway bridge and their incorporation into the new extension It provides office space for staff, technical facilities and it is a mixed development of office space at Levels 3 and 4, retail units at Level 2 and general usage for the SBC at Level 1. It also provides a new entrance hall for Royal Festival Hall staff and artists which links through to the main building
